Long Term Rehabilitation Therapy

• Speech Therapy
  Stroke Patients and brain injury victims often have to undergo Speech Therapy to regain their ability to communicate. Speech Therapy reteaches their brain the language skills they once knew. Patients that have suffered brain injury experience memory loss and difficulty speaking coherently. A licensed speech therapist is trained to help Patients with their vocal coordination, speech and communication skills.
• Physical Therapy
  With Physical Therapy, Patients can expect to strengthen weakened muscles and get relief from joint pain. Physical Therapists incorporate massage and exercise to improve blood circulation and increase their range of motion. Physical therapists can also recommend mobility aids to increase the Patient’s independence and complement their lifestyle.
• Occupational Therapy
  Occupational Therapy is provided to help Patients regain function in their everyday life. Cognitive skills, hand eye coordination and motor skills are taught to contribute to the Patient’s independence and overall well being.
